Activities for kids are centred around the Little Treasures Club; a large purpose-built bure featuring a host of fun activities. The Kids Club is located in the centre of the island, away from the main entertainment area for adults. The Club’s innovative programme of activities is run by a fun loving team of dedicated, local staff, all of whom who have extensive experience with kids and are Child Care & Primary school teach trained. Treasure Island Kids' Club is open to children of all ages from 4 -12 years. Registration is open from 9:30am. Session times are 9:30am - 12 noon, 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Children 0-3 are welcome to join in kids club activities however will need be supervised by a parent or babysitter. Once a week the resort has a Fiji Day when kids get to create their own Lovo (traditional Fijian feast). As part of the activities the children prepare the food, weave baskets from coconut leaves and cook the food underground. Then, in the evening, they put on local dress and present a Meke (a performance of Fijian songs and dances) for their parents. Babysitting is available for a reasonable cost. Treasure Island Resort is located on a 14.5 acre island coral cay with 68 Beachfront, Oceanview & Island bures. Each of the bures have an option to interconnect (availability on request). A king bed and single bed is standard bedding in every room. Each bure can comfortably sleep three adults, or two adults plus two children under 12. This configuration can be altered to sleep up to four people with an additional single bed (additional bedding is subject to availability and confirmed at time of booking). There is no charge for children under 12 years of age sharing the same room with their parents. This applies to accommodation only and does not include meals or other resort facilities and services. Easily accessible from the mainland, Treasure Island sits within the breathtaking Mamanuca island group, east of Nadi. Located just 17 km from Nadi International Airport, making it the closest island resort to Fiji's major international gateway. Treasure can be accesses via high speed launch, the Tui Elevuka, from Vuda marina (15 mins North of Nadi) which takes around 25 minutes. Also the Tiger IV fast cat operates between Denarau marina and Treasure three times a day and can take either 30 minutes or two hours, depending on which service you choose. Another option is a helicopter transfer from Nadi airport.
