Denarau Island is the home to many of Fiji's 5 star resorts as well as being the gateway to most of the Mamanuca Island resorts. The islands resorts offer first class accommodation with a variety of different types to choose from.
Plantation Island in 2016 is similar to the resort we visited 15 years earlier - the hotel rooms are gone, there a new pool, a kids water park in the lagoon, air cond in all the bures - but everything else is the same, and that's a good thing.
There are plenty of resorts in Fiji that offer some sort of kids program for their guests. Some are free and some cost money to attend. There are also different ages for some clubs but generally the 4-12 year age bracket is catered for.
