Port Douglas is a sea-side village located on Queensland's Far North Coast, around an hour north of Cairns. It is a great base for visiting the Great Barrier Reef with plenty of day trips available. The Port Douglas Markets were established almost 35 years ago and are famous for serving up a wide variety of hand-crafted goods, locally produced food and seasonal fresh produce. The markets are open every Sunday from 8am to 1.30pm at Market Park on Wharf St near Anzac Park. You can expect to find exquisite gem stones and hand crafted jewellery, tropical giftware, fresh local fruit and veg, clothing, homewares and a variety of food stalls. Mossman Farmers Markets are held every Saturday morning.

The Crocodile Show adventure features a a huge estuarine (saltwater) crocodile hand fed in a presentation and learn about Australia's indigenous Freshwater crocodile.
