Family Facilities
Games and activities are organised for children * Take a day trip with the whole family to a private island and discover a nearby village. * Snorkel with the kids and take a picnic at a deserted island * There are two bird sanctuaries in Fiji, one of them being Bird Island, our guide will share his knowledge on the Island and take you and your family there. * Relax and enjoy our salt water pool with the kids. * We provide a family babysitting service (a charge will apply).
Activities
The many activities available on the island include line fishing, snorkelling, golf, sailing and windsurfing, kayaks and canoes, glass bottom boating, volleyball, library and board games, basket weaving and coconut demonstration, day trips, massages and just simply relaxing around our stunning swimming pool.
Dining
Gourmet meals are served in our restaurant or outdoors overlooking the beach under the shade of a palm tree or an umbrella. Our changing menu offers a variety of locally grown fruits, vegetables, fish, seafood, New Zealand beef and lamb, freshly baked breads, cookies and delicious desserts. With prior notice our chef is happy to cater for special dietary requirements.
Accommodation
Toberua Island Resort features three different bures; Our Tropical Bures are designed to combine traditional architecture with contemporary style. The Deluxe Oceanfront Bures are all nestled on the water’s edge just steps between you and the ocean. Our two newly refurbished Premium Bures are situated with the beach at your doorstep. Handcrafted by local tradesmen with bamboo and thatch these spacious bures are a luxurious mix of traditional design and contemporary style. All three bure rates include accommodation, morning and afternoon teas, daily maid service, evening turn down service, all complimentary activities including snorkelling, sailing, kayaking, coral viewing and golf.
Location
Toberua Private Island is located in the Lomaiviti Group, east of Viti Levu, the largest of the Fiji Islands. A 10 minute vehicle transfer from Nausori Airport to Nakelo Landing, followed by a 30 minute scenic boat ride along the Navaloa River to the Bau Waters will have you arriving at your island home for your unforgettable island experience.
